Rio Grande Valley 2016 - October 22

Thank you for your interest in registering to attend a Sugar Surfing Workshop to be held in Harlingen, Texas on October 22, 2016. Stephen W. Ponder, MD FAAP CDE will be your speaker and facilitator for this event. This workshop is being presented by The South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association (STJDA)

and HOPE 4 Kids Living with Diabetes.

A Free Conference for Families Living with Diabetes, Caregivers, Medical Students, and

Professionals Seeking Information about State-of- the-Art Diabetes Management known as

"Sugar Surfing"™.

Admission is FREE. Light Snacks Provided.

​

​Information updates prior to the event will be sent to you via the email address that you use to register for this workshop.

​

Children with Diabetes Ages 13-18 are permitted to attend the Sugar Surfing Workshop.

​

Children’s Sugar Surfing Fun Track

  • Limited to children ages 7-12.

  • 60 children is the maximum; the first 60 children registered may attend. Limit 4 children per family. Parents MUST register their children for the Sugar Surfing Fun Track when the parents register themselves online for the event.

  • Parents MUST bring their child’s diabetes supplies, including insulin and items to treat low blood sugars.
